Air conditioning alone is not enough to combat heat

As mentioned in the section on thermal imaging cameras, there are actually two factors that contribute to how people perceive heat: the first is "space temperature" and the second is "surface temperature. The graph above shows the temperature change in the back seat of a car without KOBOtect Sunblock film on the left and with KOBOtect Sunblock film on the right.

Although there does not appear to be a significant difference in either space temperature, a clear difference in surface temperature can be seen. This means that in order to avoid feeling hot, it is necessary to lower the space temperature with air conditioning and at the same time to shield the heat (IR/IR) well so that the "surface temperature" does not rise due to direct heat.
